A LITTLE ABOUT ME
Hi, I’m Angeline Smith.
I’ve always had a strong interest in how businesses operate—how decisions are made, how money moves, and how structure impacts outcomes. After earning my bachelor’s degree in accounting, I began my career as a staff accountant working in federal compliance, enforcing regulatory standards for university research grants.
From there, I held a variety of accounting and finance roles, earned my master’s degree in administration, and eventually worked as a management consultant with KPMG Consulting. In 2004, I founded A. Smith Accounting, a DBA of Angeline & Associates, LLC, to provide businesses with accounting support that goes beyond basic recordkeeping.
As an accountant with extensive experience in strategic business operations, I’m known for my ability to bring clarity to complex financial situations and to build systems that are both compliant and practical. I believe accounting should support decision-making—not create confusion or anxiety.
Today, I work with business owners and investors across the country to help them understand their numbers, maintain strong financial foundations, and make informed, data-driven business decisions—with no surprises at tax time.
